All of these
planes are running! This is the line to get out to the main taxiway
to fly. There were approximately twenty airplanes ready to fly at
all times.
There are a
similar number of ultralights and LSA on the other side of the airport.
I don't even fly on the week of SnF, because of the sheer number
of aircraft in the air.
These are
Compairs. They're turbines and carry 6-10 passengers and freight.
These things have something like 750 HP and can climb like a homesick
angel.
This was a beautiful
little parasol out on the flightline. Didn't get a real close look,
but these usually have an 0-200 or 0-220 in 'em.
